As we close in on four months of living in and renovating our house, we are getting somewhere. Ninety percent of our belongings have been in storage for nearly six months and we sprung them last week and stashed everything into the largest room in our house. And by this time next week, two rooms will be (mostly) done, the carpet will be laid and we will be able to put down furniture. We will be able to live like real people.
We chose carpet for the two bedrooms because as the house is old and drafty, I wanted to make our early mornings as cozy as possible. I wanted something comfortable for baby to crawl around on and we hope that the carpet will deaden some of the noise of walking around. We’re happy with our choice, sight unseen and are very excited about the final look (final without window and door trim and well, doors).
