Another wonderful being that’s popped up in our garden:
The weather has been wonderful the last few days and Adam and I are out walking every day. He’s staying awake in the stroller more, which is good for two reasons. One, he sleeps more at home, which means I have time to get a few things done. Two, he gets to enjoy the sights as we walk instead of the experience he had been having, which was screaming as he was put into the stroller, passing out as soon as it started moving and waking up in his playpen an hour later.
I’m working on organizing the dining room though it has been more complicated than I anticipated. Someone gave us a table that we will use in on our sun porch this summer, so in order to move that out of the dining room and I had to move a lot of the junk we dumped onto the sun porch over that last, oh, six months or so. There’s stuff to be thrown out, stuff to be picked up on “big garbage” day, bits and bobs from our renovations… and nowhere to put it. That’s the true maddening part of renovations: everything will have a place eventually but nothing has a place in the meantime.
